Challenge! Do the following tasks as you get to know how to use Google Slides:

Task 1: Open your Google Drive

Task 2: Create a New Google Slide

Task 3:Add another slide Create a cover page with a:

• Title of the chosen topic
• Your full Name
• Period
• Add an image to support the topic

Task 4:  Pick a theme for your slide: Add the following information to your slide

• One school rule/expectation you think is really important and why

Task 5: Add another slide and refer to the FIRE chart in your agenda

• How will you bring the FIRE when school starts?

Challenge!

Do the following tasks as you Explore your Google Drive:

Task 1: Open your  Google Drive

(IF YOU FINISHED TASK 2-4, MOVE TO TASK NUMBER 5)

Task 2: Create a Google Doc

Task 3: Give it a title

Task 4: Write a paragraph about you like about O'Donovan so far.

Task 5: If you finished your paragraph do the Challenge below:

1. Open our example file. Make sure you're signed into Google, then click File > Make a copy. For now, do not rename the copy.
2. Open Google Drive, create a folder, and name it Practice Documents.
3. Locate our example file in your drive.
4. Add our example file to the folder you created in step 2.
5. Open the folder and preview the example file.
6. Close the preview.

• Open Gmail.
• Log into email account using email and password provide on the stcker 
• Compose a new email.
• Address the email to yourself by putting your email address as the recipient.
• Type a subject and a message in the body of the email.
• Attach a file or picture to the email. If you don't have one, you can download and use the picture below by right-clicking and choosing Save Image As.
• Does your email look like the picture?
• Send the email to yourself (yes, use your email address)
